Museum Asked People to Recreate Art and They Nailed It

The Getty Museum challenged the people of twitter to recreate famous art pieces with things lying around their house. Of course, people were bored and creative enough to do it. For a weirder time people were asked to do art, here’s the time people were asked to draw a duck, and they responded.

Cute Thread About Museum Discovering A Bat In Their Library

The Museum of English Rural Lifewent viral last month after sharing an adorable story about a mysterious visitor who appeared in their rare bookstore. The trespasser? A bat. As bats don’t belong in book archives, the staff worked together to help the accidental tourist safely escape the premises. It’s a great storytelling thread, and we’re pleased to say it has a happy ending.

2019 Wildlife Photographer Competition: The Stories Behind The Best Shots

Peter Haygarth had been following the dogs as they hunted in Zimanga Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. On first encountering the cheetah, the dogs were wary, but as the rest of the pack arrived, their confidence grew and they began to encircle the cat. Peter kept his focus on the cat’s face. In a few minutes the spat was over as the cheetah fled. (Behaviour: mammals category). (Photo by Peter Haygarth)
