Important Details Clients Neglected To Tell Lawyers

Someone on AskReddit asked for people to share the important details that clients neglected to tell lawyers. If anything it’s a fascinating study in how important it can be to not leave anything out, if you ever find yourself hiring a lawyer. The devil really is in the details. Just don’t lie to your lawyer.

Lawyers Share What They Can’t Believe Is Legal Or Illegal

Someone on AskReddit asked for lawyers to share their biggest surprises when it came to what was legal/illegal, upon going through law school and learning the ins and outs of the justice system. Some of these are the very definition of outdated, and it’s a true wonder the laws are still standing. While others are just a little bit silly. Like, in France it’s illegal to name a pig “Napoleon.”

Karen Wrecks Her Mercedes, Has No Insurance, Expects Stranger To Pay For Damages

Oh Karen, just cause you don’t have insurance doesn’t mean you can rely on perfect strangers to pay for your car’s damages. To make matters even better with this fine tale of Karen entitlement, it sounds like she found the original post that called her out, and wanted to sue the person over it. As it turns out, Karen doesn’t have a whole lot of ground to stand on.

Florida Man Headlines That Provide Way More ‘WTF’ Than You Need In A Day

We’ve asked this before and we’re gonna ask it again: what the actual f*ck is in Florida‘s water supply? Like, is it some sort of radioactive sh*t? Florida Man might as well be the name of a superhero at this point – a superhero that does absolutely nothing useful but entertain us.

Police Officers Share Laws They Feel Uncomfortable Enforcing

Someone on AskReddit asked for police officers to share the laws they feel uncomfortable about enforcing, because they don’t necessarily agree with them. We’ve got responses like, how they don’t particularly want to bust people out having a good time on the river, as long as they’re not being total inconsiderate animals. As well as, angelic cops who literally carry nickels on them to feed the meters to avoid writing tickets. Wherever that is happening sounds like a hell of a place.

Well, it appears that we’re living in the future now, as the first space crime ever may have just been committed.
